A scenic route around Bosley Cloud, past the prehistoric Bridestones plus a section of bridleway by the river Dane.

BOSx02 Start / Finish
Leave the car park and turn right on the road.
BOSw01 Waypoint 1
Bridleway
Just opposite the houses, take the bridleway on the right uphill and at the cross roads go straight over onto Gosberry Hole Lane [track].

Road
At the end turn left on the road uphill passing the Bridestones.
BOSw03 Waypoint 3
Road
Turn left after the Bridestones then left again and shortly turn right going downhill.

Road
Take the left fork at Woodhouse Green [phonebox] going downhill.

Bridleway
Take the first track left which goes down to Ravensclough out on a road where you turn left on The Dane Valley Way.

At the T junction go right downhill, and left at the bottom of the hill onto a bridleway in a field.
BOSw07 Waypoint 7
Bridleway
The bridleway goes over the Cheshire Ring canal then through fields, under a railway viaduct and through a group of buildings to a road.

Road
Turn left along the road and soon left again onto Peover Lane after re crossing the canal.

At the cross roads turn right onto Tunstall Lane.

Bridleway
You will reach the point where you crossed the road and rode uphill on Gosberry Lane. Turn right here onto the bridleway and retrace your steps to Timbersbrook car park.
